I hope everyone connects to this project the way we hope, as the concept surrounds the daily struggles of our youth. CREATIVE CRITICAL REFLECTION

  Creative Critical Reflection: Representation of Social groups and issues in our music video Our music video serves as an exploration of the struggles faced by individuals (mainly teenagers) dealing with mental health issues including selfloathing and insecurity linked to eating disorders (we portrayed eating disorder in the scene where she steps on the weight scale and the word 'fat' pops up), this links to feelings of low confidence and low self esteem, depression and social anxiety. In mainstream media, these themes are often romanticised or overlooked, leaving many individuals particularly the youth feeling unheard. Our project aims to challenge this by representing the emotional turmoil experienced by young people who battle with their sense of self.One of the ways our music video represents these issues is through visual storytelling. We played the music video for our family and friends- and safe to say they loved it!!

  our teacher encouraged us to make some changes in order to make the music video even more smooth than it was, using 'CapCut Pro'.

RELEASE STRATEGY

  release strategy for music video & ancillary tasks pre-release (1-2 weeks before launch) teasers & behind-the-scenes:  to post short clips and stills from the music video on instagram, tiktok, and twitter. countdown posts:  to create a daily countdown to build excitement, using visuals from our digipak. engagement strategy:  to run a poll or q&a asking followers what they expect from the video. hashtag campaign:  using a unique hashtag (e.g., #antiheroMV) to make it easy to track engagement. release day music video premiere:  uploading the video to youtube and promote it across all platforms. live engagement:  going live on instagram or do a premiere chat on youtube to interact with viewers in real time. shareable content:  to post reels, tiktoks, and gifs from the video to encourage sharing. post-release (1-2 weeks after launch) behind-the-scenes video:  to share a making-of clip or bloopers to keep engagement high. user-genera...
